Hi there! I am Hannah Eastham - the face behind Woodlane!
I am a wife, fur momma, avid coffee drinker, designer,
DIY-enthusiast and maker.
Prior to Woodlane, I worked in the Insurance industry as a call center manager... fun, right? While I did enjoy the team mentality the job provided, I always felt like something else was missing. I just wasn't passionate about
handling complaint calls... but then again, who is?!
One day while searching the internet for wedding guestbooks, I stumbled upon a way to hand cut lettering and designs using a scroll saw. Being the DIYer that I am, I immediately purchased a cheap (but effective) scroll saw and set out to make a memorable and unique "guestboard" for my own wedding. Needless to say, it was a hit! Not only was I in love with all that I could do with such a simple tool, but I was also in love with the idea that I could create beautiful pieces full-time.
As I set out to find pretty templates to use, I couldn't find ones that I absolutely LOVED. So being the creative that I am, I decided to make my own! That's when WoodlaneUSA
(my Etsy shop) was started.
So here I am! In just the first few months, I have already received a tremendous amount of love and support from the maker community. I am so happy that I took a leap of faith and decided to create a business I am proud of, and I am beyond excited to see the Woodlane family grow.
